Terms of Service

Welcome to Milarn.com (“Milarn,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our mobile application for employees (“Staff App”), web platform for employers (“Employer Dashboard”), and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally employed with a participating employer to use the Staff App.
Employers must be authorized representatives of their organization to use the Employer Dashboard.
By using our Services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful.
2. Services Provided
Milarn provides an Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform that allows employees to access a portion of their earned wages before their scheduled payday, subject to employer participation and applicable terms.
For Employees (Staff App):
Request advances on earned but unpaid wages.
View earnings, history, and transaction details.
For Employers (Employer Dashboard):
Provide payroll and work-hour data to enable accurate EWA calculations.
Manage employee participation and reporting.
Note: Milarn is not a lender. The Services allow early access to wages already earned; no loans or interest are provided.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree not to share your account with others or impersonate another person.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Fees
Employees may be charged a service fee for each wage access transaction, which will be disclosed at the time of the request.
Employers may be subject to subscription or service fees as outlined in separate agreements with Milarn.
5. Employer Data Responsibility
Employers are responsible for providing accurate, timely, and complete payroll and work-hour data.
Milarn relies on employer-provided information to calculate employee eligibility for wage access.
Employers remain the data controllers of their employees’ payroll records; Milarn acts as a processor of that data.
6. Prohibited Activities
When using the Services, you agree not to:
Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Milarn’s systems.
Misrepresent your employment or wage information.
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, software, and materials provided through the Services are owned or licensed by Milarn.
You may use them only as necessary to access and use the Services in compliance with these Terms.
You may not copy, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
8. Termination & Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or for security/legal reasons.
Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Services.
9. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees that the Services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.
Milarn does not provide financial advice, loans, or credit services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Milarn is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability for any claims relating to the Services is limited to the total service fees you paid to Milarn in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Milarn harmless against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email or in-app notice.
